Questions

How does the verification work?

Statements print an opening balance and a closing balance. PennyProof adds up every extracted transaction and checks that opening + transactions = closing, to the cent. It also follows the running balance line by line, so if something's off you see which rows to check.

Which banks are supported?

Any bank or card issuer, as long as it's a PDF statement (text or scanned). There are no per-bank templates. The AI reads the layout like a person would.

Is my data safe?

Your PDF never leaves your browser. Only the text of each page (or the page image for scanned pages) is sent for extraction, processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) and not stored by us. Anthropic doesn't use API data to train models by default.

What counts as a page?

Each PDF page you convert counts as one page, including pages with no transactions.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plans are monthly and you can cancel from the billing portal in one click.
