Convert bank statement PDFs to Excel
Drop a PDF, get a clean .xlsx with date, description, amount and balance columns, plus a Verification sheet proving the transactions add up to the statement's closing balance.
Why “verified” matters
Copy-pasting from a PDF, or using a converter that guesses at columns, silently drops or duplicates lines. PennyProof checks every statement: opening balance + every transaction must equal the closing balance printed on the statement. If it doesn't, you see exactly which rows break the running balance before anything reaches your books.
What you get in the Excel file
A Transactions sheet with real dates and numbers (not text), ready to sort, filter and pivot, and a Verification sheet with the opening balance, closing balance, sum of transactions and the difference for each statement. Rows that need review are marked.
Works with any bank
There are no bank templates to break. The AI reads the statement the way a person does, so layouts from national banks, credit unions and online banks all work, including multi-page statements and descriptions that wrap onto two lines.
Questions
Is it accurate?
Each statement is reconciled to the penny when it prints an opening and closing balance (almost all do). If something is off, PennyProof tells you by how much and highlights the rows to check. You can edit any cell before exporting.
Do you store my statements?
No. Your PDF is read in your browser; only the extracted page text is sent for processing, and nothing is kept after the conversion. See the privacy page for details.
Can I convert several statements at once?
Yes. Drop multiple PDFs and they're combined into one export, with a verification line for each statement.
